Ok so where I live most people tend to have gray as a base hue in their home.A clear evidence was my client in Edmonton.

It has become a thing and then you start to see it in all cookie cut homes.

Here is the tip, if you like gray then 👍. Just don't select all your finishes in gray.

It is great to see gray in textiles, stones, tile... and that is pretty much it. (not to be too harsh)

Now, if you live in a gloomy gray home + want to bring warmth to your home= sun-bleach oak finishes, beiges, tans and ivories complement grays very well.

Just imagine this nice light gray upholstered sofa with oak finished legs. Great combo!
